How Cookie Persistence Works

Code Default

Your Setting
Whatever you chose!

When you change settings, they're stored in a cookie (gino_settings). On every page load, the cookie values override the code defaults. This works across your entire website as long as pages are on the same domain.

Reset to Defaults

Want to start fresh? Open Settings and click "Reset All" to clear your cookie and restore all code defaults. You can also reset individual fields using the reset button next to each setting.

Pro tip: Open Settings on this page - you'll see orange indicators showing which values override the code defaults. This helps users understand what they've customized.
